The portfolio includes a professional essay on the topic of Collaborative Artistic Creation between Child and Parent in a Ceramics Course. Additionally, there is a summary of the book "Čáry, klikyháky, paňáci a auta: výtvarný projev a psychický život dítěte" by Jaromír Uždil, a professional profile of a leisure-time educator, a case study of the educational institution "Dům dětí a mládeže," and preparation for a leisure-time ceramics course. The author's professional growth is mapped throughout the entire work. She drew from her experiences and milestones documented here during her studies, practice, and from professional literature. The work is designed to be a useful summary of acquired knowledge and the acquisition of new insights beneficial to her practice.

Transformation of a selected DDM after 1989

The subject of this thesis is the examination of the evolution of Youth Centre (Dům dětí a mládeže) in Strakonice since 1989. First, the changes that affected leisure education facilities after the Velvet revolution are described. The description focused on the alternations to the buildings and the management in the last decade of the 20th century, as well as its assertion as one of the main places for children and youths to spend their free time in the city of Strakonice. Next, the activities carried out as well as the forms of leisure education, HR and finance issues and the range of the offered leisure clubs are presented to demonstrate the evolution of the DDM Strakonice in the 21st century.

Delegating secondary school headmaster's activities to senior executive of youth home Bc. JARMILA ŽIGOVÁ ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with the management of education in the school facility. The main focus is put on the middle management, more precisely on senior executives of secondary schools' youth homes. It studies their role, it defines activities and competencies delegated by secondary school headmasters. The topic of this thesis is based on the fact, that although youth centres are run by school headmasters, activities and order of this education institution is guaranteed by senior executives of youth centres who create important mediators between top management and school establishment staff. The thesis has been made by means of specialized literature and available internet resources. It is based on the applicable legal standards and on the specific laws that modify the area of education and training. In theoretical part the definition of senior executive of youth centre and delegation term is made. Competencies taken over by a senior executive from a headmaster are objects of research part of the thesis. Appropriate Choice of Leisuretime Activities Under Consideration of Individual Mental and Physical Development

This work deals with selection of activities for children of early school age, based on their developmental characteristics. In the theoretical part there are described chapters of the chosen area of spare-time, which are for this work very important, further the institutions engaged in education during the spare-time, and also the characteristics of early school age that have been already mentioned. Practical part of this work contains a proposal of a week activity-plan for the youth centre adapted to early school age. During the planning and preparation of the activities it is necessary to pay attention to uniqueness and characteristics of the respective age.
